ROBERT SHERMAN
Sr. Vice President, Director of Leasing
Robert Sherman joined Ross Realty Investments, Inc. in 1988. Since that time,
Bob has leased in excess of four million square feet of space in properties
ranging from single tenant build-to-suits to power centers. As Ross Realty has
grown, so has Ross' Leasing Department. As Sr VP/Director of Leasing, Bob
oversees a department of experienced leasing agents and support personnel. The
Ross portfolio of properties now exceeds 4.5 million square feet of space. The
Ross Realty Leasing Department has consistently maintained overall occupancy
rates in the 98% range, and have typically enjoyed occupancy rates far above
competing centers in their market area.
Bob believes in an aggressive
approach to marketing. Direct mail, personal solicitation, e-mail and web
marketing, involvement in the I.C.S.C., and the continued encouragement of
outside broker cooperation through a well established broker network have all
played a role in the tremendous success of Ross Realty's Leasing Department. Bob
is well known in the industry and enjoys an outstanding reputation.
Prior to joining Ross Realty Investments, Inc., Bob was a Retail
Property Specialist with CB Commercial's Fort Lauderdale office for six years.
During that time Bob successfully marketed shopping centers of all sizes and
exclusively represented national, regional and local retailers in their
procurement of locations. Bob also coordinated the company's annual "Market
Overview", a valuable research tool for both commercial property owners and
tenants.
During that time, Bob obtained an in-depth understanding of
retail marketing strategies and procedures and established numerous
relationships with retailers, brokers and property owners.
Bob graduated
from the University of Florida in 1982 with a B.S. degree in Business
Administration, majoring in Real Estate and Urban Analysis.
